Who We Are
Our Story
Adelaide Electrical & Solar was founded in 2008 by master electrician David Hartley, who saw a gap in the market for a truly local, trustworthy electrical contractor that put homeowners first. What started as a one-man operation has grown into a team of 12 licensed electricians and solar installers — all based right here in Adelaide.
When the solar boom hit South Australia, we were among the first local contractors to gain Clean Energy Council accreditation. Today, solar installations make up half our business — and we're proud to have helped hundreds of Adelaide families reduce their power bills and carbon footprint.
What Drives Us
Our Values
Safety First
Every job is completed to Australian Standards AS/NZS 3000. We never cut corners — your family's safety is non-negotiable.
Honest Pricing
We quote upfront and stick to it. No surprise invoices, no hidden call-out fees, no upselling you on work you don't need.
Local Knowledge
We know Adelaide's homes, its grid, and its weather. That local expertise means better system designs and faster service.
Long-Term Relationships
Most of our business comes from repeat customers and referrals. We build relationships, not just electrical systems.
